ABOUT THIS PROJECT
More Than Human is a self-published zine born from my ongoing inquiry into hybrid identities, posthumanism, and the entanglement of technology, nature, and culture. It reflects my desire to explore what happens when the human perspective is no longer the only frame of reference—when machines, systems, and non-human agents share our space of meaning.
This zine brings together fragments of writing, drawings, and conceptual notes created during my research and artistic practice. It’s an invitation to think beyond the binaries of organic and synthetic, real and virtual, self and other. Each page is a gesture toward imagining futures where boundaries are porous and identities are fluid.

Materials Used
I approached this project with the same principles guiding my studio practice: low-impact, small-scale, and intentional production.
I printed this edition using Classic Crest Natural White 80 lb / 120 g text paper (8.5" × 11"). This premium stock is acid-free for archival quality and manufactured with sustainable forestry practices.
To keep the process intimate and sustainable, I opted for short-run, self-printing in my studio, thereby avoiding mass production and minimizing waste.

Behind the Scenes
This zine began as a series of speculative writings on my encounter with the posthuman condition. It evolved through a dialogue between reflections, images from my excursions, and fragments of the machines I was building at the time. More Than Human offers visions—unfinished, open-ended—that affirm “becoming more than human” is an ongoing process, not a fixed state.
The final manifesto emerged during the Monday science fiction sessions led by José Urriola, in collaboration with Fernando Orduña and Luis Fraga Lo Curto—a shared space for speculative thought that fueled the ideas materialized in this zine.
Producing a printed artifact in an age dominated by screens was a deliberate act. I wanted to create a tactile object that resists the transience of digital life—an object that carries my energy, holds textures reminiscent of tree bark, shares the dimensionality of my human body, and, over time, will smell of old paper.
