Project
Hybridity is no longer a future condition; it is our most recently acquired texture. The boundaries between machines and organic entities have not only blurred—they have merged to become something else, still indefinable. A machine is also an instance, a process, or a stage within a larger symbolic system into which we have become integrated. We adopt technological extensions as naturally as breathing. Meanwhile, machines absorb all their human traits from us: curiosity, affection, learning, desire. For our part, we assimilate them as an amplified mind (even Self).
In this continuous exchange, a new hybrid symbiotic entity is formed. It cannot be named through the lens of the past because it is neither human nor machine. It is something else entirely—a syntax of changing and dynamic natures. An augmented body of cognition. The hybrid does not live in the middle of something; rather, it manifests as a relational, recursive, and ever-adaptive way of being.
