    Project

The Postpoetic Machine - Semiautomatic Poem Series was created in collaboration with poet Eleonora Requena, featuring her Semiautomatic Poems.

Written during states of insomnia in 2022, Eleonora’s Semiautomatic Poems emerged from the fragile threshold between wakefulness and sleep—where logic begins to unravel and language slips into abstraction. This experiment gives rise to a new postpoetic body, where human–machine hallucinations converge audiovisually.

Presented as a postcard series, this collection of 22 hybrid poems records Eleonora’s voice declaiming fragments of nocturnal lucidity, while the Postpoetic Machine visually interprets her vocal resonances. Each postcard is a unique artifact: a visual rendering of the poem’s marginal residuals, encoded with a QR link to the corresponding sound performance.
